The Founders I Watch Are Quieter Now

A pattern: the founders I find most interesting have been posting less.

Not because they have less to say — because the signal-to-noise ratio in founder media has gotten worse, and they’ve quietly opted out. They write longer pieces, infrequently. They show up on a podcast once a quarter. They are unreachable on most days because they are doing the work.

The loudest accounts are now mostly a different category of person. That’s fine. It just means anyone trying to learn from “founders on the internet” is increasingly learning from a curated subset that filtered for output frequency over insight.

If you’re looking for signal: read the long pieces, skip the threads, and notice which names show up in other operators’ bookshelves.
